About this Nominee
Seasoned entrepreneur and philanthropist of 25+ years, Gaby was born and raised in Mexico before moving to Danville. Driven to create positive change, Gaby founded Pledge to Humanity to provide local and global volunteer opportunities for students and empower them to become compassionate changemakers. To date, Pledge to Humanity has empowered 10K+ Tri-Valley students and worked with over 50 nonprofit organizations. This has resulted in over 450K volunteer hours, valuing $14.5M economic value.
Gaby's dedication to philanthropy is also showcased in her establishment of Sueños Amor y Esperanza, an after-school community center for under-resourced children, in Jalisco, Mexico. Her advisory roles with Americans for Philanthropy and Advance International, Inc. further amplify her commitment to sustainable social impact.
In 2017, Gaby demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit and humanitarian values by founding jewelry social enterprise, Love You More. Through every purchase, customers acquire beautiful jewelry, while contributing to local and global philanthropic causes, including Pledge to Humanity.
